11/03/08 - Site is being updated as I change a few colours round. I'm also uploading bigger versions of images from the originals I added when I first started this site last year.
04/03/08 - Not been around for a few weeks but I'm slowly adding new content following a recent trip to Paris.

AN INTRODUCTION..
Welcome to 'The Spill', the online photography gallery , Nick Tonge. I am a freelance graphic designer by trade and it's because of my design background that I got into photography. What interested me was the chance of recording information through the capture of still images.
For a few years I used a trusty Kodak compact which is still a great little camera, but in December 2006 I decided to upgrade to a Canon 400D DSLR. Since then I've been walking around the streets of Manchester looking for that perfect photo opportunity of urban life, architecture or anything completely random.
In between me spotting a photographic opportunity and the photographs being printed, there is the camera and related equipment. I primarily use a digital camera but very recently I've been given a couple of film SLRs, so I've been experimenting with film cameras as well. [CLICK]
Obviously, the gallery is a place where all the photographs are categorised, but THE WALL is where all the thumbnails from the galleries are placed - looks like it could get quite inetersting. [CLICK]
Someone recently bought me a Diana+ film camera and throughout January I've been mainly using the camera, which explains my lack of activity on this site. I'm hopeful that I will get a roll processed soon and I will sort out a gallery as soon as I do. I can;t wait to see the results. I've forgotten what I've taken photos of now!
